New Hope Shelter Weekend Staff
New Hope Shelter is seeking dependable, compassionate, and professional individuals to join our team. We are hiring for a part-time Saturday and Sunday daytime positions to help support daily shelter operations and provide a safe, welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
These positions are ideal for individuals who are flexible, reliable, and committed to serving others in a respectful and supportive setting.
Available Shifts
- Saturday and/or Sunday Day Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist residents with questions, needs, and general support
- Help maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized environment through light cleaning duties
- Manage facility entry access by opening doors and assisting individuals entering the shelter
- Support front desk and shelter operations throughout the shift
- Contribute to a safe, respectful, and positive atmosphere for residents, guests, and staff
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and respectful in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable interacting with diverse populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability is strongly preferred
