Job Summary
The QBHS, QMHS, CDCA provides direct support services to clients with behavioral health needs, working closely with a team of professionals to implement individualized treatment plans. The specialist promotes recovery, resiliency, and overall wellness by assisting clients in achieving their treatment goals. Experience with youth and families preferred.
Duties
Client Support: Assist clients in identifying and overcoming behavioral health challenges, including mental health issues and substance use disorders.
Treatment Implementation: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to execute individualized treatment plans designed by clinicians.
Skill Building: Teach clients life skills, coping mechanisms, and problem-solving strategies to manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support during crises, helping clients de-escalate and stabilize their emotions and behaviors.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plan updates, and incident reports.
Advocacy: Advocate for clients' needs within various systems, such as healthcare, housing, and legal services.
Community Integration: Support clients in accessing community resources and integrating into their communities through social, educational, and employment opportunities.
Group Facilitation: Lead or co-lead group sessions focused on behavioral health topics, such as anger management, relapse prevention, or stress reduction.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred).
Experience: Prior experience working with individuals in behavioral health settings is preferred.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in behavioral health support or crisis intervention (preferred).
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and the ability to manage stressful situations.
Working Conditions
- May involve working in various settings, including outpatient facilities, residential homes, or the community.
- Requires flexibility in work hours to meet the needs of the clients, which may include evenings
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
