People & Culture Coordinator
Job Summary
The People & Culture Coordinator partners with the Director of People & Culture to execute core HR functions and enhance employee experience at New Hope Housing. This role serves as the primary point of contact for employees throughout their journey, from recruitment support through on-boarding excellence, ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate HR systems. The ideal candidate will thrive in a mission-driven environment focused on serving our community.
Salary Range: 60,000-65,000 annually
Duties and Responsibilities
NEW HIRE RECRUITMENT, ON-BOARDING & ORIENTATION:
· Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles.
· Post open positions across job boards and maintain organized recruitment tracking.
· Manages and ensures the pre-employment process and requirements are met for new hires, including reference checks, offers, background checks, policy acknowledgment, etc.
· Coordinates and facilitates the on-boarding process including coordinating with outside departments, conducting the on-boarding orientation and subsequent follow up training, and processing new hire paperwork.
GENERAL HR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Verify and update I-9 documentation and related record keeping.
· Accurately inputs and maintains employee data in personnel folders and HRIS system.
· Filing employee documents.
· Actively tracks employee acknowledgement to company policies, procedures, and courses.
· Maintains organizational charts, job descriptions, and employee directories.
· Lead various special projects and People & Culture initiatives as required.
· Collaborates effectively with People & Culture department and company wide goals.
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 2-3 years of Human Resources Experience
· Working knowledge of HR local, state, and federal employment and compliance laws and regulations
· Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Forms & PowerPoint) skills
· Knowledge of Alliance HCM software – preferred
· Knowledge of payroll processing and requirements – preferred

Transportation Requirements
Reliable transportation is required at all times. As timely travel is required with short notice. Mileage is reimbursed.
