School-Based Therapist

New Hope Healing (www.new-hope-healing) is a looking for a licensed mental health professional to join our team as a school-based therapist. We currently have partnerships with Des Moines, Urbandale, Waukee, West Des Moines and SouthEast Polk Public Schools. Our Ideal Candidate

• Has experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Is passionate about serving underserved and marginalized communities.
• Utilizes a systems-based approach when supporting students and families.
• Practices from a trauma-informed, attachment-focused perspective or is eager to learn.
• Has training or experience in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Adlerian Play Therapy, or other evidence-based play therapy approaches (or a willingness to develop these skills).
