Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with the intake process, including collecting medical history and updating patient records
- Support chiropractors during adjustments by preparing treatment areas and handing necessary equipment or supplies
- Conduct basic patient assessments such as measuring range of motion and documenting physiological responses
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery outcomes
- Maintain accurate medical terminology documentation and ensure all patient information is confidentially handled
- Assist with general clinic organization, including sterilizing equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness of treatment rooms
- Collaborate with the team to improve patient service experience by addressing questions and providing supportive care
Experience
- Prior experience in healthcare or chiropractic settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to understand treatment procedures and assist effectively
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to chiropractic care enhances communication with practitioners and patients
- Excellent patient service skills with a friendly, empathetic approach to diverse patient needs
