Role Description
New Hope Center is seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. This position will begin as part-time with the opportunity to transition to full-time as caseload increases. The role is fully in-office and focused on providing thoughtful, high-quality mental health counseling to individuals.
The clinician will primarily work with individual clients. Clinical focus areas may include anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, life transitions, and other common mental health concerns.
We are looking to connect with a clinician who feels aligned with a purpose-driven approach to therapy — someone who believes that meaningful clinical work often involves helping individuals process difficult experiences, build resilience, and create lasting change in their lives.
This position is paid on an hourly rate basis, with compensation tied to sessions conducted. The role will begin part-time and has the potential to grow into a full-time caseload as demand increases.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual therapy sessions in an in-office setting
- Work with adults, and when appropriate, children and adolescents
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Active LPC license in the state of New Jersey
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Experience treating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief, and related mental health concerns preferred
- Experience working with children and adolescents is a plus
Schedule: Part-time to start with the opportunity to grow into a full-time caseload.
