Job Summary
New Hope Care Services, LLC is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) / Habilitation Training Specialists (HTSs) to support individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes and communities. Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and routines
- Assist individuals in building and practicing independent living and social skills
- Encourage community inclusion and participation in activities of interest
- Follow individual support plans and document services accurately and timely
- Promote individual rights, choice, privacy, and dignity at all times
- Observe and report changes in behavior, health, or safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and support teams
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and required registries
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
