What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Technician position at New Hope Auto Service?
New Hope Auto is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician/Mechanic to join our busy repair shop in Brooklyn.
We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and able to work independently. This is a hands-on position for a technician who can properly diagnose vehicles and complete repairs efficiently.
We’re looking for experience with:
- General automotive repair and maintenance
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Brakes and suspension
- Front-end work
- Steering and electrical repairs
- Alignments
- Engine and mechanical repairs
- Using diagnostic/scanning equipment
We need someone who knows their way around a shop, can diagnose problems correctly, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
Schedule: 5 days per week, approximately 8:00 AM–7:00 PM. Saturdays are available depending on schedule. No Sundays.
Pay: Based on experience and skill level.
We are a busy, established shop with steady work and are looking for someone reliable who wants a long-term position.
