At New Hope, we are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living their best lives — both at home and in the community.

Weekend Shifts Available:
Working 2 weekends on, 1 weekend off, Saturday and Sunday
What You’ll Do:

Assist individuals with daily living needs such as cooking, dressing, personal hygiene, and home care

Use ceiling-mounted electric Hoyer lifts to help individuals in and out of wheelchairs as needed

Support individuals in participating in community life through activities like dining out, shopping, visiting friends, and attending local events

Provide compassionate care and build lasting, supportive relationship
What We’re Looking For:

Genuine interest in supporting people to live independent, fulfilling lives

Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills

Ability to work effectively with individuals served, team members, families, and the community

Must be 16 years of age or older (for campus home roles)

Ability to pass a physical exam (required for lifting support)

Desire to learn new skills and grow professionally
