Key Responsibilities
- Learn and confidently deliver our proven sales roadmap, including presentations and virtual demonstrations of Oakwood Homes, communities, model homes, and homesites.
- Build trust quickly by answering buyer questions, overcoming objections, and moving prospects toward confident purchase decisions.
- Own the buyer experience from first contact through contract, delivering consistent follow-up and follow-through to ensure satisfaction.
- Actively participate as a collaborative member of the Community Team, contributing energy, ideas, and a team-first mindset.
- Proactively address homeowner and buyer concerns throughout the entire sales and building journey.
- Generate your own momentum through self-prospecting, including Realtor outreach and referral development.
- Stay focused on daily activity and key performance drivers that lead to contracts and closings, and documenting all stages accordingly.
- Embrace training, coaching, and new technology, including HubSpot CRM and other sales tools, to continuously improve performance.
- A positive, customer-first attitude and strong people skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and eager to learn through our established training and support system.
- Interest in sales; prior experience is a plus but not required.
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using basic technology, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to follow proven sales processes and represent the brand professionally.
- Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a team.
- New team members must be willing to obtain an Arizona real estate license, if not already acquired.
- This is a full-time, onsite position that works from model homes in the respective Maricopa and Coolidge areas, as well as their surrounding neighborhoods. Team members must be open to commuting up to 45 minutes - 1 hour depending on community assignment and sales opportunities.
- New Home Counselors work 5 days a week, including weekends, 9:30am - 5:30pm. Team members have either Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday as designated days off.
- This role offers a $30,000 Annual Salary and is eligible for additional sales commission.
- This is a full-time, W2 opportunity that offers a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA accounts, 401K, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and an EAP.
