As a Production Cook, you'll play an important role in preparing high-quality meals for catering, school meal programs, and other food production operations while helping create opportunities that positively impact our community.
We're looking for dependable, team-oriented individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in preparing food safely, efficiently, and consistently.
What You'll Do
- Assist with daily food preparation and meal production.
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
- Support catering, school meal, and food production operations.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation throughout each shift.
- Wash pots, pans, utensils, serving ware, and kitchen equipment.
- Receive, organize, label, and store food and supplies.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with kitchen setup, breakdown, and general cleaning.
- Help maintain organized workstations and storage areas.
- Support inventory organization and supply monitoring.
- Communicate professionally with chefs, kitchen staff, trainees, members, and other New Hill team members.
- Participate in staff meetings and training opportunities.
- Perform additional duties that support successful kitchen operations.

Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, food service, catering, or food preparation experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow recipes, production schedules, and food safety procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift 20–30 pounds.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends
- Valid drivers license .
