Night Watch (Female BFOQ)

Overview

Hourly Pay Rate: $16.50 to $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 11 pm - 3 am OR 3 am - 8 am

Responsibilities

• Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of students during traditional sleeping hours, staying awake and alert throughout the entire shift.
• Bed Checks: Conduct bed checks every 15 minutes to monitor student safety and address any immediate needs or concerns.
• Student Assistance: Assist students who may be ill or experiencing difficulties, providing necessary support and care.
• Observation and Documentation: Observe and accurately document student behavior, contributing to their care and overall progress.
• Daily Assignments: Complete daily assignments during each shift, ensuring that all responsibilities are met effectively.
• Specialized Tasks: Take on specialized assignments from the Supervisor as required to support the team and students.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Day Staff to ensure seamless transitions between shifts, maintaining a cohesive and supportive environment for our students.
  
  

Qualifications

• Ability to meet a sex‑based Bona Fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ) due to privacy and safety needs of female adolescent residents during overnight supervision.
• Required:
• This position is designated as female in accordance with federal and Utah law due to the need to protect resident privacy, dignity, and trauma‑informed care in an all‑girls adolescent residential treatment setting, particularly during overnight hours.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21 years old or older
• Current driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to pass a Utah State background check
