Summary:
Building Cleaning Workers I
To
perform independent cleaning, custodial or janitorial duties associated with
the care, cleaning, and maintenance of multiple buildings/facilities for the
State of New Hampshire Veterans Home; may include assignment to multiple units,
areas, locations.
Building Cleaning Workers II
To serve as a team or crew lead, and/or shift point person
and to independently provide a full range of cleaning, custodial or janitorial
duties associated with the care, cleaning, and maintenance of one or multiple
state facilities, buildings, grounds, or institutions; may include assignment
to multiple units, areas, locations, or districts.
YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS:Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations)
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong
Must be willing to maintain appearance appropriate to assigned duties and responsibilities as determined by the agency appointing authority
