New Hampshire Home Care Providers is hiring dependable and compassionate In-Home Care Aides to assist older adults and individuals with disabilities in their own homes.
This is a non-medical caregiving position. You will help clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible by providing assistance with everyday activities.
Previous experience is helpful but not required. We provide the training and support you need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers
- Provide medication reminders
- Accompany clients on errands and to appointments
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or needs
- Complete required visit documentation accurately and on time
- Follow each client’s individual care plan
- Communicate scheduling changes, concerns, and emergencies promptly
- Respect each client’s privacy, dignity, independence, and personal choices
Qualifications
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Comfortable assisting older adults and individuals with disabilities
- Able to communicate clearly with clients, families, and office staff
- Able to follow written care plans and agency procedures
- Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling and visit documentation
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance when driving is required
- Able to complete all required background checks
- Previous caregiving, home care, direct-support, healthcare, housekeeping, or personal-care experience is helpful but not required
