Electric Motor Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking an Electric Motor Technician specializing in the repair, maintenance, and diagnostics of electric motors and power generation systems. The Electric Motor Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, performing general equipment repairs, and ensuring high-quality electromechanical restoration.
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate machinery such as lathes, mills, welders, sandblasters, and pressure washers for equipment refurbishment and repairs.
- Stage and palletize freight movement for efficient logistics handling.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the workshop.
- Support high-priority electromechanical restoration projects which may require overtime work.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance status.
- Basic facility maintenance
Qualifications.
- Attention to detail to work safely while adhering to safety protocols and meeting the highest standards of quality.
- Knowledge of electrical work related to power generation systems and electromechanical equipment.
- A collaborative mindset that relies heavily on character attributes like reliability, accountability, empathetic listening, and the flexibility to adapt to shifting project demands.
- Structured training available for candidates with the right character who don't have experience.
