The State of New Hampshire, Department of Corrections, Division of Personnel and Information has a full-time vacancy for a Payroll Technician.

Summary

To provide technical assistance in the processing of human resource and employee compensation transactions to include computing, compiling and reviewing agency compensation reports to ensure the authorized verification and accuracy of reported information.

• YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS:** Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Experience:** Associate's degree and 6 months of experience OR equivalent combination of 2.5 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in business administration, education, personnel office work, human resource work, payroll, business management or related field.
• License/Certification:** None
• Other Requirements:** Must pass security and background screenings required for correctional environments
• Trainee Option:** Candidates with an equivalent combination of 1.5 years of relevant education and experience after completion of high school may be considered and hired in trainee status for this position.
