- YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS:** Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formaleducation.
- Education/Experience:** Equivalent combination of 1 year of education and experience after completion of high school.
- License/Certification:** Valid New Hampshire drivers license required.
- Other Requirements:** Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet the minimum standards established by the agency.

- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:** At least one year of experience performing grounds maintenance duties, with proficiency in operating and maintaining motorized landscaping equipment. Working knowledge of horticultural and landscaping practices, including the proper care, maintenance, and preservation of lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and other ornamental plantings.

Detailed Tasks (agency/Position-specific)
- Supervises laborers, volunteers, and contractors engaged in the maintenance and improvement of public access sites.
- Maintains public access sites and grounds by performing a variety of landscaping and maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming lawns, and clearing brush.
- Maintains and resurfaces gravel parking lots and access roads to ensure safe and reliable public access.
- Inspects, monitors, and performs routine maintenance on boat ramps, restroom facilities, informational kiosks, and entrance signage.
- Plants, waters, and maintains grass, trees, and shrubs; rakes leaves and removes grass clippings to preserve site appearance.
- Repairs and maintains guardrails, gates, docks, fences, restroom facilities, and fishing piers.
- Collects and disposes of trash and debris; cleans and maintains boat ramps and surrounding areas.
- Prepares and submits accurate records and reports detailing labor hours equipment usage, and materials utilized.
- Cleans and maintains drainage ditches and culverts to support proper water flow and site conditions.
- Operates trucks, tractors, riding mowers, and other equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned duties.
