Location: Portsmouth, NH (Please Note: Interviews and initial training will be conducted at our Bedford, NH location.)About the Role: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity. You will serve as a certified Pearson VUE Exam Proctor (training provided), ensuring the integrity of testing procedures, while also providing backup and assistance to our existing team of support specialists.Crucial Note on Reliability: Reliability is the most critical requirement for this position. The exams we administer are high-stakes professional exams that determine candidates' careers. Delivering these exams exactly as scheduled is paramount. We are looking for a candidate who treats attendance and punctuality with the highest level of seriousness; if the testing center does not open on time, candidates cannot test.Key Responsibilities:Exam Proctoring:Open the testing center strictly on time to ensure all scheduled appointments proceed without delay.Check in candidates, verify identification, and ensure all security protocols are followed.Continuously monitor test-takers to maintain exam integrity.Maintain a quiet, distraction-free testing environment.Support Team Assistance:Assist the existing support team by answering incoming phone calls during busy periods.Monitor the support queue and help triage or respond to tickets to reduce backlog.Provide administrative support to senior specialists as needed.Facility & General Duties:Ensure the location is clean: You are responsible for keeping the testing room, reception area, and common spaces clean, sanitized, and professional in appearance at all times.Perform other duties as assigned to support daily business operations.Job Preview & Shadowing: To ensure this role is the right fit for you, we offer an opportunity to shadow a current proctor as part of the process.
