Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Collect and document data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
- Assist in conducting patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication and documentation processes.
- Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development and social interaction.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in patient care settings is preferred.
- Background in behavioral therapy or special education is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of ABA Applied behavior analysis or DTT Discrete Trial Instruction helpful
