What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing & PR Intern position at New Ground?
New Ground is hiring a Marketing & PR Intern to support the marketing and creative team with their growing portfolio. This role has a direct reporting line to the Sr. Client Partner and Jr. Client Partner. The Marketing Intern will support all projects required, but have a focus on building influencer databases, gifting, outreach, social media strategy support, creative ideation, and social scheduling among various clients in the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industries.
The internship will be part-time (16-20 hours/week) and run from January 12th - May 29th.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Help prospect influencers that align with multiple client brand values, with the aim of growing the New Ground influencer database
- Support in communicating with influencers for gifting and content creation. Gather and ship inventory along with tracking packages.
- Manage day-to-day influencer relationships
- Facilitate product seeding and gifting to influencers, KOLs, celebrities, media, and VIPs.
- Support in ideation of content strategies.
- Support in the planning, creative, and execution of photoshoots, events, and post-production of social assets.
- Assist in analyzing and reporting on weekly and monthly client social performance.
- Stay ahead of key industry trends, competitive insights, and industry leaders in social media.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergrad or master’s degree program
- Students must be eligible to receive school credit and provide supporting documentation, and work in the office at the West Hollywood location.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with or experience in marketing, PR, or social media
- Passionate and in the know about beauty, fashion, lifestyle brands, and trends
