First Shift Childcare Director

Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Daycare Director to oversee the daily operations of a childcare facility, ensuring a safe, educational, and nurturing environment for children. They manage staff, develop programs, maintain compliance with regulations, and communicate with parents. Essentially, they are the leaders of the center, responsible for all aspects of its operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Development and Implementation:. Planning and implementing educational and recreational activities, developing curriculum, and ensuring it meets quality standards.
• Staff Management:. Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff, including teaching and administrative personnel.
• Compliance and Regulations:. Ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to childcare.
• Budgeting and Finance:. Developing and managing the center's budget, including managing finances, payroll, and vendor relations.
• Facility Operations:. Overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children and staff.
• Parent and Community Relations:. Communicating effectively with parents, addressing concerns, and building positive relationships with the community.
• Strategic Planning:. Developing and implementing strategic plans for the center, including enrollment growth and program expansion.
• Marketing and Enrollment:. Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new families and maintain enrollment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance:Ensuring that all programs and activities are developmentally appropriate for the children in their care.
• Safety and Well-being:Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the children, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring a nurturing environment.
• Communication:Maintaining open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including parents, staff, and community members.
• Continuous Improvement:Monitoring program effectiveness, seeking feedback, and implementing improvements to ensure the highest quality of care.
