Who You Are
- You have 5 or more years of experience in construction or project management, ideally in residential ground-up.
- You're comfortable managing multiple jobs simultaneously and keeping everything moving.
- You understand budgets, schedules, scopes, and how small decisions affect margin and timelines.
- You enjoy working with people, field teams, trades, designers, vendors, and clients.
- You're proactive, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
- You like building systems and improving how work flows, not just "getting by."
Key Responsibilities
- Own project timelines, budgets, and overall execution across multiple homes.
- Coordinate and support two Site Superintendents and an Admin Assistant.
- Build schedules, track progress, and adjust sequencing to keep projects on time.
- Manage budgets: review bids, track cost vs. budget, and flag variances early.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers.
- Oversee designer selections, finishes, and procurement to align with budget and design intent.
- Perform regular site visits to drive accountability and resolve field issues.
- Manage punch lists, warranty work, and post-close items.
- Maintain consistent, professional communication with investors, buyers, lenders, and partners.
- Help refine and implement processes as the company grows (templates, standards, workflows).
- 5 or more years in construction/project management, preferably in residential new construction.
- Strong understanding of ground-up residential builds from dirt to close.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects, budgets, and timelines at once.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, able to push for results while maintaining relationships.
- Organized and comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and project software.
- Experience with multifamily (duplexes, four-plexes, townhomes) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Buildertrend, Procore, or similar tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Houston permitting and inspections is a plus.
- Full-time, W-2 Employee.
- Base Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 annually, based on experience
- Additional Performance Bonuses tied to on-time, on-budget delivery and overall portfolio success
- Work directly with the founder and be part of shaping how the company scales
