About the Position – Clinical Department Supervisor I
The Clinical Department Supervisor I is responsible for supporting clinical operations for member services, with a focus on peer and administrative support within the clinical department. The Clinical Department Supervisor I works under the oversight of licensed supervisors and assists in managing daily operations of Clinical Group Facilitators and other staff, as directed.
Your Impact Will Include:
- Support clinical operations by ensuring delivery of quality, member-centered care and assisting with daily facility operations
- Provide guidance, coaching, recognition, and corrective action for assigned staff, and support staff in group facilitation and documentation
- Oversee logistics for admissions, discharges, and transfers, communicate care concerns effectively, and promote member rights, safety, and dignity
- Work with team members and other departments to coordinate services, solve problems, and achieve optimal outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement and survey readiness, ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards, and support departmental KPIs and benchmarks
- Receive clinical supervision per BHT requirements (does not provide clinical supervision to others)
- Performing additional duties as assigned to support our mission
Where You’ll Work
- Primarily onsite at our offices
- Using standard office equipment, plus plenty of face-to-face interaction
- Some days will require long periods of sitting, standing, or walking

Experience
Required- Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and critical thinking and problem-solving skills required
- Effectively demonstrates versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

- Qualification as a Behavioral Health Technician or Behavioral Health Professional required (Behavioral Health Technician designation - 2 years behavioral health work experience and/or higher education)
- 3 year(s): Experience in a behavioral health setting
- 2 year(s): Supervisory experience
- Associate or Independent Licensed Professional preferred (LAC/LPC, LMSW/LCSW, LASAC/LISAC)
- Peer and Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) Certification is required
Education
Required- HS Equivalency or better in General Studies or related field
- High School or better in General Studies or related field
- Masters or better in Clinical Psychology or related field
