New Flyer is currently seeking experienced Welders to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to assemble and fabricate components according to specifications. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders
- Perform welding tasks using various welding techniques to fabricate and assemble components
- Inspect welds for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Make necessary adjustments as required
- Maintain clean and organized work areas. Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and ensure smooth workflow
- Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
- Strong knowledge of TIG welding
- Ability to operate welding equipment and tools effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
- Physical strength and stamina to perform welding tasks and lift heavy materials
