About the Role
This isn’t just a job—it’s a leadership journey. Over the course of a 9 month training program, you’ll gain hands-on experience in every aspect of running a successful Escapology venue. From managing a team to driving revenue and ensuring 5-star guest experiences, you’ll learn what it takes to be a General Manager.
Compensation Details
- Training Year: $20-25/hour (50 hours per week)
- Post-Training (GM Role):
- $50,000 Base Salary
- Up to $50,000 Performance Bonuses
- Up to $20,000 Commission
- Total Compensation Range: $50,000 – $100,000
Schedule
- 50 hours per week (10-hour shifts)
- 2 days off per week with a set schedule:
- Sunday & Monday OR Monday & Tuesday OR Tuesday & Wednesday
What You’ll Do
As the future General Manager, you’ll take ownership of all aspects of the venue’s operations, including:
- Leading daily operations and ensuring smooth game execution
- Managing, coaching, and developing a team of Game Masters and Hosts
- Driving revenue through bookings, upsells, and group sales
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences that meet 5-star standards
- Overseeing scheduling, payroll targets, and labor efficiency
- Maintaining “Pride Inspection Ready” cleanliness standards
- Executing marketing promotions and building community partnerships
- Analyzing performance metrics, such as sales, games per day, and labor percentages
Training Program
During your training program, you’ll receive hands-on training in:
- Game operations and live hosting systems
- Team leadership and performance management
- Sales strategy and revenue growth
- Financial management, including P&L, labor percentages, and forecasting
- Facility operations and quality control
