Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our consumers, staff and building during business hours. The Security Officer will be required to patrol their assigned post, respond to emergency situations, and perform other duties as assigned. Successful candidates must be able to communicate effectively, be in good physical condition, able to effectively deal with upset individuals and staff in a friendly manner and hold a security card
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Work on Sundays, holidays, and evenings.
- Work under pressure in a potentially dangerous environment.
- Carry out the primary duties of the position.
- Assist with crowd control when needed.
- Arrest unruly suspects and bring them to the appropriate authorities.
- Patrol assigned areas for criminal activity and make arrests as necessary.
- Use of weapons and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations through periodic inspections of work site.
- Maintain a safe environment for employees, contractors, customers, and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, customers, and visitors.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
