Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route management, and efficient handling of deliveries using commercial vehicles such as box trucks. Prior delivery driver experience and familiarity with warehouse operations are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers and clients across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage delivery routes efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and departures
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally during delivery interactions
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary signatures or documentation upon receipt
- Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory, organizing stock, and preparing shipments for delivery
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations during route driving and while on duty
Requirements
- Valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record - Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving knowledge
- Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmission
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks such as moving boxes, pallets, or equipment
- Warehouse experience including the use of forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with professional communication abilities
- Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or route planning tools
- Prior experience with load & unload procedures in a warehouse setting is desirable
- Reliable transportation to start shifts promptly and consistently meet delivery schedules
Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
