Primary Function:
The Tri-Axle Dump Driver 1 is responsible for supporting NESL through performing the proper day-to-day driving and delivery activities combined with maintaining proper truck maintenance and appearance.
Tri-Axle Dump Driver 1 - What Will You Do?
• Responsible for transporting and delivering material safely, accurately, and on time.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and professional communication to both internal and external customers.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding daily activities including any issues with onsite delivery challenges.
• Maintain truck cleanliness inside and out and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain operator logs and records in accordance with all DOT, FMCSA, and NESL policies related to commercial driver standards.
• Conduct pre/post-trip truck inspections including checking coolant, motor oil, hydraulic oil, washer, and power steering fluid.
• Responsible for proper care and use of electronic devices including tablets and software applications.
• Identifying and properly reporting any safety risks.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?
• Possess a valid Class A or B driver’s license and compliant with NESL Driving Standards.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to coworkers, supervisors, customers, and the general public at all times.
• Demonstrate proper truck handling skills and truck knowledge, including passing a pre-trip inspection and on road driving test.
• Report to the assigned work site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
