What are the responsibilities and job description for the OBGYN TRIAGE NURSE position at New England Women's Healthcare?
As a full-service private practice, New England Women's Healthcare provides preventive gynecological care, prenatal and obstetrics services, personalized family planning, and more. The offices are located in Woburn, Wilmington, and Wakefield Massachusetts.
The practice has eleven board-certified OB/GYNs on staff and six Nurse Practitioners, so patients have access to a team of expert providers. The team delivers the best care that modern medicine has to offer. We offer several services under one roof, including high-definition ultrasound imaging, 3-D mammography, laboratory testing, and in-office minimally invasive procedures, to name a few.
TRIAGE NURSE POSITION:
- Give advice as outlined in the triage guidelines and provider protocols.
- Initiate telephone encounters and route messages regarding patient’s condition.
- Initiate referrals to other specialists.
- Provide follow-up care as needed.
- Provide notification of test results and communicate treatment plans.
- Document conversation with patients and providers in the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate appointments at outside facilities as ordered by the provider.
- Prescription refills/new orders.

Pay: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
