Your Role as a Driver
As a Driver, you ensure that sheet metal materials, ductwork, and other essential supplies are safely and promptly transported from our fabrication shop to job sites.

What You'll Do
- Timely Deliveries: Transport ductwork and materials according to a daily route schedule.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle meets all DOT and Tech Air safety standards.
- Proactive Communication: Keep field foremen and dispatch updated on delivery times, delays, or any issues encountered.
- Support On-Site Operations: Assist with offloading materials at job sites and verify that shipments match paperwork.
- Vehicle & Record Maintenance: Maintain daily logs of hours worked, pre-trip inspections, and other required documentation.
We're Seeking Candidates Who Meet These Key Requirements
- Valid Class B or C Driver's License
- Clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major accidents)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and handle sheet metal materials safely up to 50 lbs
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Must pass a background check
- Familiarity with GPS systems and mobile apps for logs
- Ability to start early mornings (typically before 6 AM) through 4:30 PM
- Comfortable working independently and in changing conditions
As a Tech Air driver, you'll make $21 - $25 per hour, depending on your experience.
