Role Description
This full-time certified athletic trainer role is an on-site position located in Glastonbury, CT. The Athletic Trainer will work collaboratively with physicians to provide support during regenerative medicine treatments and other medical procedures, assist with patient education, and ensure adherence to treatment protocols. Additional responsibilities include performing energy medicine treatments, processing blood and tissue specimens (such as bone marrow and adipose) for injection, patient education, brace/splint fitting and kinesiotaping, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, sports mechanics, injury prevention, and basic rehabilitation techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enhance patient experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary medical environment
- Attention to detail with proficiency in documentation and report preparation
- Applicants MUST have a degree in Athletic Training or a related field
- Board Certification (or eligible for board certification) for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) certification and appropriate state licensure
- CPR and first aid certification
- Experience in a clinical or sports medicine setting is a plus
- College-level ATC experience is highly preferred.
