Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing detailed information about menu items.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders to tables, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food orders.
- Provide excellent guest services, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings, preferably in fine dining or nightclub environments.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
- Culinary experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Previous experience as a host/host or in guest relations is beneficial.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
