Role Overview
NERR is seeking Regional High School Basketball Correspondents to provide consistent, boots-on-the-ground coverage of the high school basketball scene within their respective regions. Correspondents will serve as trusted voices for their area, reporting on standout performances, emerging prospects, college commitments, and broader regional trends.
This is a highly visible role that allows contributors to grow their personal network, expand their media footprint, and become recognizable voices within the Northeast basketball ecosystem and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular coverage of high school basketball within your assigned region
- Highlight standout performances, prospects, and emerging “hidden gems”
- Report on college commitments and recruitment news
- Publish weekly round-up articles covering key performances and storylines
- Assist in identifying prospects and trends relevant to NERR’s scouting and media platforms
- Represent NERR professionally at games, events, and within the basketball community
