Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas to ensure a comfortable and inviting environment for our guests. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
- Ensure all public areas, hallways, and common spaces are tidy and well-maintained
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department
- Follow established safety protocols and health standards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized manner for efficient workflow
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality is preferred; hotel experience is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled shifts
- Custodial or housekeeping management experience is beneficial but not required
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, lift heavy items, and stand for extended periods
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
