Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional custodial and cleaning services. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Restock amenities and supplies as needed to ensure guest satisfaction
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding hygiene, safety, and confidentiality
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Experience with various cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning and floor care is advantageous
- Background in hospitality or janitorial services enhances ability to deliver quality service
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
