Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator / Orthodontic Assistant RDA
We're hiring! We are in need of an orthodontic treatment coordinator/assistant to join our team at New England Orthodontic Specialists.
We are a growing, high-tech, fun orthodontic practice that provides excellent service to the best patients in the North Shore area and would like to expand our team with an orthodontic treatment coordinator/assistant who is driven to deliver excellent patient care with an upbeat and friendly attitude.
The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for communication with (and a smooth transition of) new patients into the practice and to present treatment with the orthodontists. The TC will be responsible for on-going communication with parents/patients before, during, and after treatment. The TC will monitor the patient recall system and communicate with referring offices, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Dental Assistant
- Dental X-ray certified and digital X-ray experience
- Should feel comfortable with technological advancements i.e. digital photographs, digital impressions, use of a computer and dental software
- Dental experience preferred, orthodontics is a plus!
- Must have excellent communication skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating a positive atmosphere for patients, parents, and team members
- Seeing patients clinically for orthodontic appointments
- Discuss treatment options and prepare financial arrangements with patients/parents (will work with our financial coordinator)
- Monitor patient’s progress to ensure completion of treatment, track patient status, and report to Orthodontists
- Coordinate with Clinical Team Leader and Doctors to provide the opportunity for same day care to patients
- Schedule follow-up recall appointments for patients, as needed

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
