Job Summary

New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking HVAC Technicians to maintain, trouble shoot, repair, replace, and operate commercial HVAC systems for our Latham, NY Operations Group.

We require 5 years of commercial HVAC systems experience.

Strong technical aptitude, familiarity with up-to-date communications technology, and strong communication skills are necessary.

Ability to work well within a small team setting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned

Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.

Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.

Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC systems experience (5 years).
• Must have a driver’s license.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, smell and lift, set-up and climb ladders as well as stairways. The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.

Geographic Disclosure

 

Compensation Range: $60-$120k

Other Compensation: not bonus or commission eligible
