New England Liquidations is looking for a dependable, hands-on, and customer-friendly Warehouse Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Test and inspect used equipment to make sure it is working properly.
- Start, operate, and test machines
- Identify mechanical or operational problems.
- Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and adjustments when needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment that is not starting or operating correctly.
- Check oil, fuel systems, spark plugs, batteries, belts, filters, and other basic components.
- Clean and prepare equipment for sale.
- Move, load, unload, and organize merchandise and equipment throughout the warehouse.
- Lift and carry boxes, tools, equipment, and other merchandise as needed.
- Help receive and unload incoming shipments.
- Organize inventory and keep the warehouse clean and safe.
- Assist customers who come into the store or warehouse.
- Answer customer questions about products and equipment.
- Demonstrate equipment and explain basic features and operation to customers.
- Help customers find the products that best fit their needs.
- Assist with sales and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Help load customer purchases into their vehicles when needed.
- Communicate equipment issues, inventory concerns, and customer needs to management.
- Follow all safety procedures when handling, moving, testing, and repairing equipment.
Qualifications
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to safely test and operate different types of equipment.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Customer service or sales experience is a plus.
- Friendly and comfortable speaking with customers.
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Must be able to regularly lift and move merchandise and equipment.
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and being on your feet throughout the workday.
- Willingness to learn and take on different responsibilities.

Pay: $16.95 - $18.00 per hour
