Parts Associate - Heavy-Duty Trucks

New England Kenworth, Burlington has a full-time position open for a Parts Counter Person to support the sales of Heavy-Duty Truck Parts at our Shelburne, VT location.

Pay range of 25.00-29.00 depending on relevant experience

Rotating Saturdays until 12:00

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assisting internal and external customers with parts purchases

· Communicating by phone and in-person, looking up parts information, creating invoices, issuing returned goods credits

· Stocking inventory and/or pulling parts for delivery

· Help drive sales through customer service excellence

· Assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities

· Assist Outside Parts Sales and Delivery personnel

· Assist in maintaining store appearance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Two-year related experience in retail sales, preferably in related industry (Heavy Duty Truck Parts)

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Equivalent combination of education and experience with proven results

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Current, valid driver’s license issued in state of residence

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· This position will require, at different times and frequencies, sitting, standing, walking, lifting and bending.
