Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse/Registered Nurse

Company Description New England Holistic Psychiatric is a mental health practice that integrates traditional and holistic treatment modalities to support individual wellness. The practice offers tailored care, including prescription medications, medicinal herbs and supplements, and supportive psychotherapy. It provides Spravato, an FDA-approved intranasal esketamine treatment for appropriate clients. The practice also closely follows emerging research on psilocybin and MDMA-assisted therapy to remain informed about innovative therapeutic options.

Role Description The Medical Assistant / Licensed Practical Nurse/ Registered Nurse at New England Holistic Psychiatric will provide direct patient care in an outpatient psychiatric setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling medications and monitoring Spravato sessions, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care in accordance with regulatory and practice standards. The main role is to manage Spravato sessions twice a week for 3 hours each session and related documentation, insurance coverage/ prior authorizations. This is a part-time, on-site position located in Southampton, MA.

Qualifications

• Active license in the state of Massachusetts and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Clinical skills in behavioral health care, including patient assessment, medication administration, and monitoring treatment response.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with electronic health records and standard clinical workflows.
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a small practice setting, with sound judgment and attention to patient safety.
• Current BLS certification; experience with Spravato or other advanced psychiatric treatments is a plus.
• Prior outpatient or clinic-based experience in psychiatry, mental health, or related fields is preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 per week
