Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique.

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of maintaining healthy habits.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical coding in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Uphold strict infection control standards through proper sterilization techniques and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist dental practice is required.
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately and review documentation effectively.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse patient populations.
- Massachusetts Registered Dental Hygienist License is mandatory.
