Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our dental practices. This position is full time: 5 day per week
A minimum of 1 years of Dental Office experience is required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong background in administrative support, and a passion for providing outstanding patient service. In this role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, verify insurance, and ensure smooth office workflow while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software
- Verify insurance coverage
- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures, including updating medical records and collecting payments.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to address patient inquiries and coordinate appointment scheduling.
- Review documentation for accuracy, including medical history forms, treatment plans, and insurance information.
- Maintain organized dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards.
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and dental software platforms (Denticon experience is a plus!)
Experience
- Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred; clinic experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of dental terminology
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Experience with insurance verification processes
- Strong clerical skills including typing (10-key), filing, and data entry are required for accurate documentation review.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
