New England CNC, Inc. is growing and is looking for a dedicated and experienced CNC Operator.
Minimum of two years shop experience with CNC Operating required to be considered for the role.
We are a medium sized CNC shop providing both milling and turning services to a variety of clients in a multitude of industries. We pride ourselves on delivering high precision, on time parts to all of our customers. We are a production shop running fast paced production while also taking on short run jobs.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a experienced candidate with at least two years of experience with the ability to work on both lathes and mills producing parts according to print. Candidate should be well versed in machine operating and able to work proficiently and independent to complete jobs in a timely matter. Candidate needs to be a team player and posses strong problem solving capabilities and good communication with the rest of the team.
Job Requirements
- Ability to proficiently work independently on assigned task
- Ability to proficiently and accurately read prints and work orders
- Ability to identify and select correct materials needed for job
- Knowledge of operation of both CNC Lathes and Mills
- Ability to change worn tooling and adjust offsets
- Ability to proficiently and accurately measure parts during production using various precision gages
- Ability to fill out paperwork regarding to job
Hours and Compensation
Work hours are 6:30 to 4:30 M-T and 6:30 to 12:00 on Friday
Position is hourly based on the above hours
Pay is based on knowledge and performance of job
