What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Assistant Teacher for Young Toddler Classroom position at New Einsteins Academy?
New Einsteins Academy (NEA) is accepting resumes for an Experienced Assistant Teacher positions at our Ravenswood location.
To qualify for this position you MUST have:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education OR CDA
OR
-Bachelor's degree in any field with 6 credits in Early Childhood Education
OR
1 years experience working with children ages 2-3 years old in a child care setting (preferred)
NEA is looking for candidates who have/are:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience teaching in a child care program
- Patience and a nurturing personality
- Highly organized, dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and creative
Responsibilities include:
- Create and implement a developmentally appropriate educational program
- Ensure children are supervised at all times
- Communicate with parents
- Maintain organized and clean classrooms
- Provide children with various activities, both inside and outside the school

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA
- Experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience in toddler care or childcare settings is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated to take initiative in the classroom.
