This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing cash management opportunities with existing business clients and prospective commercial customers.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated sales professional with experience in treasury management, cash management, or commercial banking. This individual will work closely with Commercial Relationship Managers to deepen client relationships, grow deposits, increase fee income, and deliver customized treasury solutions that meet clients' operational and financial needs.
Job Requirements
- Develop and expand cash management and treasury management relationships with commercial clients and prospects
- Partner with Commercial Relationship Managers to achieve deposit growth and fee income objectives
- Analyze existing and prospective client relationships to identify treasury management opportunities
- Assess client financial statements and operational needs to recommend appropriate banking solutions
- Present and sell treasury management products, including ACH, wire services, remote deposit capture, positive pay, merchant services, and online banking solutions
- Conduct client and prospect meetings to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships
- Participate in the onboarding and implementation process for new treasury management clients
- Negotiate pricing and service structures while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction
- Generate new revenue through treasury management product sales and cross-selling initiatives
- Support client retention efforts by providing exceptional service and ongoing relationship management
- Collaborate with operations, technology, and implementation teams to ensure successful product delivery
- Maintain an active calling program and sales pipeline to achieve individual and departmental goals
- Prepare presentations and proposals for prospective and existing clients
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of treasury management, cash management, commercial banking, or business banking experience required
- Experience selling treasury management or cash management products to commercial clients preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services
- Ability to analyze financial statements and identify client banking needs
- Strong business development and relationship management skills
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and sales abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel locally to meet with clients and prospects
