Independent Record Label | New Earth Records | Flexible (approximately 10 hours/week)
We are an independent record label focused on expanding visibility, engagement, and revenue exclusively through music streaming platforms. We’re seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and music-savvy assistant to help grow our digital presence and optimize streaming performance.
This role is centered entirely on streaming music growth—no physical sales
Key Responsibilities
- Increase social media presence and interaction (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Develop and manage content strategies that drive listeners to streaming platforms
- Curate, manage, and grow Spotify playlists (editorial-style and brand playlists)
- Track and analyze streaming performance and audience engagement
- Research trends, playlists, and platform tools to improve reach and discovery
- Support initiatives to increase streaming income and long-term listener growth
- Administrate support for the music label
Ideal Candidate
- Strong understanding of Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and digital streaming ecosystems
- Experience with playlist curation and audience growth strategies
- Comfortable working with social media analytics and insights
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Passion for music and digital culture
- Experience working with independent labels is a plus
