Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Counselor to provide direct care, supervision, and emotional support to teenage girls in a group living setting. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, implementing individualized service plans, facilitating daily living skills, and fostering a positive, structured environment that promotes independence.
Duties
- Residential Care & Supervision: Maintain 24-hour supervision and oversight of residents in a group home setting to ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
- Therapeutic Support: Implement individualized treatment plans, provide one-on-one mentorship, focusing on empowerment and coping skills.
- Behavior Management: Utilize de-escalation techniques and positive behavior interventions to manage crisis situations, enforcing program rules consistently and fairly.
- Life Skills Development: Guide residents in daily routines, including meal preparation, hygiene, educational support, chores, and recreational activities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed case notes, incident reports, and behavior tracking in compliance with state regulations.
- Communication: Collaborate with therapists, social workers, families, and school staff to support the comprehensive care plan.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
