This position requires a DoD Security Clearance, U.S Citizenship and the ability to work onsite (remote/telework is not an option) - no exceptions.
Job Description:
Performs engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment in the RDT&E environment. Oversees installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment in support of RDT&E, weapons programs, and systems.
- Shall Generate detail parts, subassemblies and assemblies contained within a Product Level TDP in accordance with MIL-STD-31000 and ASME Y14.100, to include 2D/3D Native Models with annotation, 2D Drawings derived from 3D Native Models, and 3Dintelligent PDF TDPs using AutoCad and CREO software applications.
- Drawings shall contain complete notes, materials, detailing, assembly, GDT, title block requirements, Distribution Statements and Export Control Statements.
- Support the acquisition life cycle management of TDP during milestone events and System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETR).
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, U.S Citizenship is REQUIRED.
MUST be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance for duration of employment.
3 years or more experience and a BA/BS degree OR 6 Years Experience and Associates Degree.
A journeyman labor category typically performs all functional duties independently.
Must have experience that is applicable to U.S. Military or U.S. Government applications within one or more of the following areas: System Engineering, Test Engineering, Transition Engineering, Management Analysis, Training Services.
- 5 years Creo Parametric (certifications strongly preferred)
- Windchill PLM experience
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience in accordance with ASME Y14.5
- ASME Y14.100
- MIL-STD-31000 Technical Data Packages (TDP).
