Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) contracts, government program management, finance, contracts, or acquisition activities.
• High School Diploma and min. of 8 years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
• Experience managing contract funding, task orders, modifications, and financial reporting.
• Experience developing Estimates to Complete (ETCs) and Estimates at Completion (EACs) on Department of Defense contracts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze multiple financial and technical data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, charts, and data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting Navy or Department of Defense acquisition organizations.
• Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience supporting Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price, and Time-and-Materials contracts.
• Experience working with Government Business Financial Managers (BFMs), Contracting Officers (COs), and Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs).
• Experience with financial applications (Eg. Deltek Costpoint), Microsoft Power BI, or other financial and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs), and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs).
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills.
• Ability to develop accurate financial forecasts using historical trends and current program performance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Power Query, lookup functions, dashboards, and financial modeling.
• Ability to interpret contractual and financial documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Government customers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across functional organizations.
• Demonstrated initiative and sound professional judgment.
