Responsibilities
- Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to keep fairways and greens in top condition
- Operate and maintain power tools such as trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers safely and effectively
- Assist with irrigation system inspections, repairs, and adjustments to ensure optimal water distribution across the course
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities like planting, pruning, mulching, and weed control to enhance course aesthetics
- Use hand tools for detailed gardening work such as planting flowers or shrubs and repairing landscape features
- Maintain pathways, bunkers, and other course amenities through regular cleaning and upkeep
- Support overall landscaping efforts by collaborating with team members to implement new projects or seasonal changes
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and lawn care techniques
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of course appearance
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks including bending, lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaborative work environments
- Valid driver’s license may be required for equipment operation or course mobility
